At the foot of a magnificent 230 meter high cliff sculpted by erosion, the Sorgue River gushes out from its source in Fontaine-de-Vaucluse. About fifty kilometers from Le Claux du Puits, discover this picturesque natural site in the south of France and admire its mysterious abyss and emerald green waters. In the Luberon valley, between Avignon and the Fontaine du Vaucluse, you will find Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, a small Provencal village with a great charm. A real green setting, here everything is calm and peaceful, the walks along the Sorgue and its flowered quays, the beautiful antique stores lining the canals, as well as the pretty paddle wheels of the river.
